Raja's Lil' Sampling Tutorial For Max/MSP

Howdy. Probably not as much use for all the wizards here on the forums, but I figure I should probably let it be known here in case anyone ever encounters others who may benefit:
Part 1 of 3 tutorials in Max/MSP is posted there. This first is on ‘sampling’, the other 2 will be on ‘sequencing’ and ‘interfacing’.

Feel free to drop me suggestions, complaints, insults, death threats, homosexual or heterosexual proposals… anything you’d like!

Help me get it out there: society won’t become so dumbed down by capitalism if we educate freely.

You’ve been busy raja! Very busy; any likelihood of a video/audio commentary?

There is, however, one major and fundamental flaw in this whole package which it saddens me to highlight to a programmer as skilled as yourself:

The apostrophe of omission in Lil’ should be here: Li’l

tut tut

Great, and thorough tutorial! I would’ve loved this when I was learning, as I’ve developed many bad habits coding.

Also I’ve always seen lil’ the way he used it. Even though it is replacing the letters between ‘i’ and the second ‘l’.

Apparently both are acceptable

now back to messing with raja’s patches…..

good eye… but this is by design.
you see here:
apostrophe represents omission of one or more characters, and my lil’ apostrophe is so lil’ it represents the least of them. :D

Thanks fer takin a look, ErryBuddy!

Haha, Brendan: you’re my favorite person on these forums. I’m so happy to hear you like it and that we both recognize the same… ‘Cleesian’ wisdom in life :D
