I think it was the Finale list that filtered all messages containing
the strings

char nonoString1[]
= {‘s’, ‘u’, ‘b’, ‘s’, ‘c’, ‘r’, ‘i’, ‘b’, ‘e’, ”},
nonoString2[]
= {‘u’, ‘n’, ‘s’, ‘u’, ‘b’, ‘s’, ‘c’, ‘r’, ‘i’, ‘b’, ‘e’, ”};

This was effective in blocking ‘How do I unsubscribe from this list’
messages, but also sent numerous legitimate messages to dev/null/
unless the author inserted spurious blanks or performed some other
ruse. This got old very fast.

In a perfect world people wouldn’t misconfigure their .vacation files.
