I am trying to record with jit.vcr live video stream with sound. in my patch there are few more things taking place but the problem is that the video from the camera and the audio from the mic that I feed to the jit.vcr is slightly out of sync.

Do you have any ideas how to solve that? I was thinking different solutions but the jit.vcr seems the only way to go. any suggestions please!

Ok I am now synchronizing the video with the sound by using some delay in the sound. But it feels a little ceap trick. Is there an other way of implementing sth like that?

If not, could you post your delay method so that I could try that....

Just did a test with an hour long export, "jit.vcr 640 480 @realtime 1" stays in sync with Max 6.1.10 32bit, feeding the stream with a "metro 40" 9 (NOT qmetro) and saving via a "write export.mov 25 apple_prores_422" message, so that's 25fps,

Max 7 64 bit does not stay in sync. I'm on MacOS 10.10.5
