In Reason there is on tool Window a function called Alter notes.
For example,you have one midi clip with four notes on beats position and in the same octave 1.1 D3 1.2 F3 1.3 A3 1.4 B3
When you applies this function the notes alter always between them and their position and octave,no between them and others notes and positions and octaves outside these.
For example one possible result:
1.1 F3 1.2 D3 1.3 B3 1.4 A3
Is there in Ableton or maxforlive some midi plugin or function to achieve it.
If not with ableton do you know with another midi plugin vst or au for mac osx intel?

I’m not aware of a specific M4L device for that.
But it can easily be done on the basis of M4L lesson ’10-MIDI Note Operations’.

Hi Broc
A lot of thanks to your advice.
I have been searching 10-Midi Note Operations in my computer and is empty:
User/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Library/Lessons/8-Maxforlive Category and the 01 to 20 Folders that are inside are empty
Do you konw Why?

I have found Maxforlive components.alp and now are all lessons visibles
