Recognize presentation mode with a message

Hi all,

is there a way for a patch to recognize when it’s in presentation or in locked mode? I was thinking about a method to automatically disable keycommands when editing the patch (something like [key]–>[gate]–>[sel etc. etc.], where the gate is open when it receives a "presentation 1" message)

Thanks in advance

Hi,
you could use this:

– Pasted Max Patch, click to expand. –

@Helmuth thank you, but actually I need the opposite, I need something that reports when a patch is in or off locked mode…so:

@Nicolas, that external would be great, but I’m on Max6..no hope to see your [quebec] available for version 6 in the future?

@Nicolas, I tried [quebec] in Max 6.1.2 and it seems to work!

Does this report presentation as well as locked?

It does! Thank you very much, Nicolas!
