Is it possible to send Midi Data to a track ?

I'm working on an APC40 Note Mode patch and would like to record my noteout messages to THAT track

currently, i use noteout, but if i want to record the midi data it sends, i would have to create another track, and have the track with my patch output midi to another track and record on that track.. If possible id like to record into the track the patch is on..

You could put an M4L device after your device that records the notes eg. into a [coll] object.

And from there you can write the notes into a clip on the same track.
