Recording from Buffer to Buffer???

Is it possible to record from a buffer that plays through some effects into another buffer that records the effects that you have added to the original song ie.

Original song plays
-
delay, flanger, reverb
-
Recorded original song alongside effects— save file

Yes, I’m sure you could do that, but I think using a buffer wouldn’t be ideal for whole song playback/recording. I think you’re best bet would be to load the same track into a bunch of different sfplay objects, then, add effects to the ones you want, mix them all together with the original, then hook them all up into one sfrecord object and you’d have a mix. Or you could just record one of the sfplay objects into a sfrecord to have a track recorded of just one particular effect. Does that help?–or are you thinking something different?..

just wondering do you know any way of been able to visually see in realtime what your recording using the waveform~ object combined with the sfplay objects??? thats my next goal of what im trying to achieve ill post the latest patch up so you can see it working
