Recording with a microphone, but disabling audio?

Hello,

We’re trying to make an interactive installation for children, where they can record a short word (max. 5 seconds) which could be outputted after having pressed at an interactive tile.

But, we’re having some small problems:

1) When we record something, it’s been send to the speakers immediately.
But, that’s not our goal. We want to record something – without hearing what has been recorded – that can be used in the interactive tiles.
How can we disable the output of the microphone in Max/MSP?

2) We would like to interact with some selfmade tiles which will be given a bang (a “pressure sensor” which will be 1 or 0).
We’re buffering the recorded audio, but how to make it that only when someone presses the tile, you’re hearing the sound?

We are just some beginners in Max/MSP and we know it’s a big job to start with, but we’d like to have some help for us to complete our school project.
Thanks in advance!

PS: In the maxpat we have our current trial for Max/MSP.

The problem is the ezadc/ezdac off to the left of the screen. Also having both adc~ with a toggle is redundant.
