A search revealed two older threads on this problem, but nothing recent and no mention of a fix or workaround.

This is happening consistently.

Steps to recreate:

1) Start MaxMSP 5.1.3.
2) Quit.
3) Restart computer.

MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo
OS X 10.6.4
MaxMSP 5.1.3

More of a problem for me: running a standaone app (MacPOD, downloadable from http://www.thirdmonk.com) created in 5.1.3 shows a similar problem, except the Recovered Files folder contains ALL the loaded external objects (about 7 MB).

Is a fix here likely or in the works?
