Regular London Max MSP meet up

Dear London Maxers – in case some of you aren’t already aware – – we shall be having our regularly monthly meeting this Thursday 27th at London
Music Hackspace:

Starts at 7:00 p.m. it really is like a party where everyone is interesting – there is even beer and pizza too. If anyone would like to show a patch or ask questions or talk about a project they are working on – this is the place. If anyone does want to present can you let us know via facebook beforehand?

Wow!!
I did not know this even exist!!! so excited.

Unfortunately I cannot make this coming thursday as I cannot walk (had a surgery recently).
Do you reckon there would be a new one soon? like in a month?
I have a big project I would like to talk about and find some good advice from your experience.

Thanks to everyone who came down – there were 4 show and tells and some very interesting discussion. Nick Rothwell showed Max patches written in Closure, Jamie showed ongoing work on a buffer manipulation external, I got some great feedback on my 2nd ever javascript patch which swaps samples from looping buffers through noise and back, and Des showed his drag n drop music notation replacement interface which also relies heavily on javascript inside Max. ( umm Des, feel free to rewrite my description of your patch :-p )

Ross

The next meeting will be Thurs 25th Oct (always the last Thursday of the Month)
