remedial makenote/kslider/adsr~

I am attempting to use makenote in conjuction with a kslider and mtof but have obviously done something wrong as no note off messages are being received. is it possible to use this combination of modules or have I created an anomaly?

I’m also having problems implementing an adsr~ in any capacity other than modifying the cutoff frequency of filtergraph~. where would it be connected in the signal path in order to control vca functions?

The kslider help patch shows how to hook up this combination. opt/alt-click on a kslider object with your patch locked to get the help.

Perhaps posting your patch in an email here would help us help you.

You could use an [adsr~] with a range of 0-1.0 to feed the right
inlet of a [*~] object, with your audio signal to be controlled
feeding the left input.
