I know I'm missing something simple here...

I rarely use JS, but I'm trying here to make a dynamic patch. I've modified the tutorial with the sliders. Instead of deleting all sliders each time the number of sliders changes, I've tried to make it so it only removes or adds as necessary and keeps those that are unchanged. (I'm going to use this for bpatchers and don't want the remaining ones to reset when the number of them changes)

It works for adding them initially, and removing the objects in the patcher, but somehow when they are removed, the memory of them remains. I've used a global variable for the array and it does actually remove the sliders, but when asked to make them again, it thinks they already exist.
