I tried some jitter in m4l today. Very interesting!

But one pain in the ass is the fact that once

live video gets really interesting, your cpu is getting

So I thought, maybe it's possible to render the video/audio

you made with jitter, so you can do extremely complex stuff

and just drink a cup of tea while it's getting rendered. But

it doesn't seems so, or maybe I don't understand how...

I know this jitter tutorial which is a render machine, but I don't think

that's useful inside m4l because what's so nice about m4l and jitter is the syncing with your music and using the automation etc.

If it's not possible at all, it would be a great feature I think. Still, what's very interesting already is doing the same with just audio: doing very complex and heavy stuff which cannot be done real-time, and just render it as a file. It's kind of like a csound concept, which is also rendering based. It opens a whole new way of using max/msp.

any thought or idea's about this? Or a solution to do this with jitter video?
