reproducing jit.window interpolation

October 17, 2008 | 6:43 am

Hi all, i would like to reproduce the interpolation jit.window does when scaling a video to the windo with attribute @interp 1 . i want to smooth a video matrix exactly the same way if possible in order to record this video as it looks in jit.window (i don’t want to use ishowyou)..i’ve tried jit.fastblur without a good result..still in max 4 here
all the best

jit.desktop recording the window?

jit.desktop could be a solution, sometimes i use iShowyou but i’m not fully satisfied when recording 640×480 and up, it slows even opengl patches a lot. i recently did some experiments with Randy’s Render Node for offline rendering and recording and results are amazing..but it can be tricky to adapt to it complex patches with particles and textured particles..
when working with matrices i’d prefer to record directly to disk relatime or non-realtime that’s why i was asking about how does jit.window interpolation work..upsampling+blur?..
