i need to resample a wav file so that when I import the result onto the time line of my daw it will play slightly quicker than the original,

i have made a patch so that sfplay has "speed" connected, so i can alter it by say '1.009' (and it plays slighty quicker), then I record the result into (sfrecord~) at the original bit rate 24 bit and 44.1k sample rate

i wonder are these the best objects to use to preserve the quality of the sound?

Doesn’t seem to be very accurate, i believe max is rounding up ? I need the speed to be at 1.0019288 : /

Does anybody know how to fine tune the speed of a very long audio file?
