I'm using the wiiremote to track infrared sources in the Johnny Lee white board style. The trouble I'm having is that I need to do 4 point calibration on the screen so that what I'm tracking correlates to what Max is visually outputting. aka.wiiremote outputs 0 - 1023 on both the x and y axis. When I get the coordinates of the four points i get something like this:

As you can see the value for X0 differs by 43 from the bottom to the top. All of my coordinates do this and I need to be able to scale the X and Y axis between -1 & 1. 

I assume I need some kind of weighted averaging system but have never dealt with them and do not know where to start. Can someone please point me in the right direction (which could very easily not be weighted averaging)?

X0,Y1 = 98,660
X1,Y0 = 909,53
X1,Y1 = 888,656
