I am new to this object, but the docs seemed straightforward enough. However, I don't understand why in the small patch below the Max window is dumping consecutive 0's out as soon as audio is turned on. I can't where there is any 0/non-0 transition happening. The number box does put out a series of 0 (int) followed with an occasional 0.000000 (float), but I it doesn't seem to be making a difference (which it shouldn't). What am I not getting?
