Can anyone help?

I only want to send midi data from one button to one channel strip in logic and midi data from another button to a second channel strip/midi instrument… I have tried lots of things. Selecting fromMax/MSP 1 for one makenote/noteout object and fromMax/MSP2 for another just doesn’t work either… confused. I’m using logic pro 8 and max 5.. any kind of help would be appreicated.

If you simply want to send MIDI data from Max to Logic, I would not use the rewire object. Instead, use max’s noteout object. You will need to double click the [noteout] object in max to set the MIDI port. I’d suggest using “from Max MSP 1″.

The basic process for doing this can be found on my site under “max to logic (MIDI) ” and “more max to logic (MIDI)”.
