I'm building a patch that has the option of using the hostsync~ object to use abelton as a host. My patch is dependent on an incoming live feed of audio. When using the transport in max to drive the patch it works perfectly, however I'm a bit miffed as whether the patch will work when using the hostsync~, as the driver in max has to change from my soundcard to the ad_rewire option. Is there anyway I can send audio through abelton into a buffer in max when I'm using the hostsync~ and ad_rewire driver? Or is this why I would need Max For Live?
