I’ve figured out how to start/stop the transport on reason via rewire, but is there a way to start recording? I’ve searched the forums, but found nothing. Thanks.

Like I said I have never used Rewire with Max but could you assign a MIDI to control the Record button in Reason… maybe sending the message out of Max and then autolearning it in Reason.

Grizzle,
I’ve thought about pursuing that direction, it just seems strange that I can stop/start the transport, set loop points, etc. via rewire but no record. Thanks for the help.

I’ll probably just end up using midi to control the record button. Thanks for the help though. :)
