RGB Step Sequencer with Cellblock

January 6, 2012 | 10:45 pm

Hello everybody,

I’m working on something that can best be described as a RGB Step Sequencer using cellblock to store RGB values. Unfortunately, I’m not really clear on how to process the lists that come out. So far, I can only make one color square do anything, not multiples.
Here’s an example patch of the trouble I’m having.

Thanks in advance,
stefan

Yeah, that actually helped a lot. It’s quite obvious now that I look at it, I guess sometimes you just need to take a step back. I ended up tweaking it a little. Thanks a lot for the help.

I’d be inclined to use Jitter for things like this – if you say RGB storage but NOT jitter I’d think we’re taking the long way round a problem.

I seem to recall building a little mechanism that did this set/get thing for sequencers in a jitter matrix a little while back. Lemme see if I can dig it out.

i think the non-jitter list object or the non-jitter coll object are also capable of holding three integers :)
