Ringing in Patch

January 26, 2008 | 12:33 am

Hi!
I’m very new to Max, and I am trying to build a patch for school in MSP. However my patch is always ringing, I can hear everything else but on top of the ringing, I can’t seem to figure out what is causing this.

Heres the patch

I don’t hear any rining. I hear three oscillators playing random frequencies
and the sample I am loading into sfplay.

is it possible that while your patch is open you’ve got an ADC
connected to a DAC and you’re listening to low-level feedback?
remember that if you don’t send a ‘startwindow’ message to your dac~/
adc~, instead of a ‘start’ or ’1′ message, all DSP in every patch
window will be turned on, including help files.
