hi
I am pretty sure quite a lot of max users have a FF400 – I just
received mine. So far it works great, but i did not have time to
explore it yet..

I see on the manual than you can access the internal settings (pan,
volume etc, routing maybe…) by midi messages

Did anyone tried it (controlling the FF400 from max)?
Could it replace the (old, macOS9) rme objects that kit clayton (if i
remember well) did, and which were never ported to osX?

thanks for any info

I’m not sure if the MIDI implementation is different on the FF400, but I found that on the FF800, it’s a simpler to use [dsp driver monitor] and skip the MIDI.

it’s ;dsp driver monitor, i.e. a message to the DSP. There are some
explanation in the MSP manual.
