i recieve data / strings from a Jave tracking software via a server connection (TCP-Client) and try to route it, what is not working.

If i print the incoming data i get something like f.e. left 1.344 45 in the max window (without quotation marks". If i try to route left, it is not working. But if i send the incoming data into a message box, the message is displayed in the box with quotation marks at beginning and end ala "left 1.344 45". Any hints how i can get it work with route?
