rtcmix – adding control parameters …

Hi,

I am new to rtcmix, and it seems useful to me. However, only if I can give the rtc mic object an inlet and control parameters realtime from max through the rtcmix inlet.

For example, how do i add an inlet to the rtcmix object in order to control the pitch of the tone in this code:

rtsetparams(44100, 2)
load(“MBANDEDWG”)

makegen(1, 24, 1000, 0,1, 2,0)
makegen(2, 24, 1000, 0,1, 2,0)

st = 0.0
stpos = 0.0
for (i = 0; i < 10; i = i+1)
{
MBANDEDWG(st, 1.0, 10000, cpspch(8.00), 0.3, 1, 0.8, 1, 0.3, stpos, 0.0, 0.5)
st = st + 0.2
stpos = stpos + 0.05
}

This is the rtc-object implemented in a simple max patch:

Thank you for your help!

In another more simple example, I could also use this rtc mix code:

rtsetparams(44100, 2)
load(“MBLOWBOTL”)

makegen(1, 24, 1000, 0,1, 1,0)
MBLOWBOTL(4, 3.5, 20000.0, pitch, 0.7, 0.8)

where I want to add an inlet. Connect this inlet to a variable called pitch, as you see it in this line of code:
MBLOWBOTL(4, 3.5, 20000.0, pitch, 0.7, 0.8)

How do I do this?

Hi
Check the dynamic parameters part of rtc help
basically it is something like
pitch = makeconnection(inlet,1,’init val’) //put what value you want here
cheers
