rtcmix~ (intel mac)

November 6, 2006 | 6:07 pm

Max/msp 4.6 didn’t come with rtcmix~. I tried to use the external from 4.5 but it is not a .mxo object. Is there an intel version out there or a way for me to convert the old one?

Thanks,
Andrew

Brad Garton has made the source code available…

In this case I don’t think it will help (i.e. a simple recompile won’t do
the trick), although I am working on porting my "language" objects to
Xcode/UB. The problem is that I use a CFM (old style) technique to load
the language executables dynamically into max/msp, and I need to change it
to use the mach-o loader. This also means (I think) that the
CFM-wrapper-thingy that Cycling uses won’t solve the problem, either.
This doesn’t affect the Windows version of rtcmix~.

It shouldn’t be too hard to do, but I doubt I’ll be able to finish until
after the semester ends here.

Also, be sure to get the 1.4 version, not the older 1.39:
