Running interface after Max 5 program expires

I have a lighting control interface that was written in Jitter. the programmer said that Max 5 programming language was currently installed with a 30 day license and that after that the system could not be programmed but could be used for free. It seems that this may not be the case. can I run my Jitter controlled lighting interface without paying $700 for Max 5?

You can run the patch using the Max/MSP Runtime, located in your Max5 folder.
