Runtime on XP ok without a collective?

Hi,

Do I have to use a collective/application to work with runtime on a machine without a Cycling74 license, or can I install runtime and run the patches as patches?

I’m trying to help a client of mine install patches I wrote for her.

She needs to run them on a gallery machine that doesn’t have a Max/MSP/Jitter license.

Relying demo mode isn’t an option as the installation will run longer than 30 days (plus I’m not sure the demo mode is really meant for this situation).

Thanks.

i have run patches as patches on an xp machine in the same manneer
you’re describing. I usually do a full install in case there is any
last minute weirdness that pops up because of hardware diffferences,
then delete max.exe, and leave maxrt.exe.
