I’m using a joystick to control drum samples through max, but each sample will only play once, no matter how many times I press the button connected. I’m using buffer~ and groove~. Am I doing this wrong or is there a better object to use for repeatable samples. Thanks.
post a patch?
Open your max patch, unlock it, select everything by pressing cmd+a (or ctrl+a on Windows) and click edit>"Copy Compressed".
Now post what you have copied in this topic by just pasting inside the reply-textbox (cmd+v on OSX,ctrl+a on Windows). It will look something like this:
----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 172.3ocSNFrBBCCDD8bxWQHm0RhBR0a9cHEIMtpQaRjlsPwR+20rsE8xvtuY 1gcfyj0wdHIEGDmDL1.mwHTFvl2YRuo21XRTLoM58P.kql7PnGIdJ5A7tKbS z3dBhuiokLWiALX7.k6Xqyz7uSx8lbzpB0L9kAs4pN2BVb54zkYawNR2uMq5 xBknZ9D2Ep8X8i0aVZOz4cgF.oGW+CF6vEpJCG47rHp3i7O.ctUPzB -----------end_max5_patcher-----------
Probably with some more text than the example.
This way everybody can see your patch. If you copy the piece of code you posted and go to file>"Copy From Clipboard" in MaxMSP, Max present you the patch the code represents.
