I am trying to set up Soundflower to samples sounds from one music production application (Melodyne Studio) to another (Reason 6.5) - much like the following vid:

I can get the sound sampled into the Kong sampler in Reason ok but cannot hear any playback while I'm sample. I have no soundcard and am just using macs minijack in & out.

Is it possible to achieve what I am trying to achieve without an external soundcard?

I am using Early 2008 MacBookPro with 10.5.6
