Save Coll Data in a Bpatcher

March 20, 2009 | 8:31 pm

hi all
is there a way to save a coll (save data with patcher) if the coll is in a bpatcher, and i edit the data and then close the main patch which includes the bpatcher.
and i mean a way other than saving the coll as a txt file?

thanks
frank

you can do that by changing the flags to coll, triggered by loadbang and closebang, but i think you will find that it sucks after a while because your bpatchers will all the time ask you save or not when closing the parent patcher.
and what will happen when you have two instances of the bpatcher?…

You could embed the bpatcher in the main patch and then save the main patch…

Hi-

I’m interested in topic.
Stefan : what do mean by "embed the bpatcher" ?

It seems when the main patcher is saved, the coll inside the bpatcher isn’t.

sorry for my question
I just noticed the "embed patcher in parent" thing…
it works fine – thanks for your answer
