saving buffer contents with preset

this must be possible? or am i being so stupid that no one can bring themselves to point out the obvious answer that i'm missing?

The actual contents of a buffer can't be very well saved with a preset, but you can save the file name and path information, or if you had all your audio file names in a umenu, save the current selection. Maybe post a simple patch and we can go from there.

In the meantime, maybe this is helpful:

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.
