I’ve got a M4L patch that uses 4 small scope~ objects. On my machine, it displays correctly, but on a tester’s machine it makes them all the same size (too big). Has anyone else experienced this?

Can’t comment without actually seeing the device but.. Does this all happen on the same platform (so all of you are using Windows or Mac, or…) ?

For whats it worth; I created a M4L scope patch some time ago (M4LScope) which can be found here:

http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=428

As you can see its a relative simple patch (also one of my first). But I’ve never had any reports about scope sizes going haywire. Then again; I’m not using small but substandard sizes..

Hi Peter,

We haven’t run across this before, but if you are able to come up with a device and some specs/steps to repro, we will be happy to take a look.

Will do, but won’t be until next week as I’m away. This has been on one platform (Mac). I tried freezing the sizes for the various scope~ objects, as from my user’s screenshot it looks like the scope~ is not resizing from the default size, but I haven’t had a chance to try it on another machine yet.

Not sure if this affects things, but the whole instrument is inside a giant bpatcher, as I’ve got two pages for it (back page is options). If freezing doesn’t work, I’ll see if I can cook up an example for reproduction.

thanks,
PM
