I am creating sliders with scripting, but it seems that I can only change the size of the slider outside of presentation mode (the size message doesn’t affect the presentation mode). Is this correct or did I miss a doc somewhere??
I would have thought that @presentation_rect should work, but no such luck.

Thanks

Open up the helpfile and click on the link to the reference then scroll down to "information for box attributes common to all objects". You can set the "size", "position" or "rect" (both) which will be done for both patching and presentation modes. To specify which mode you want format it like this "patching_position 20 30" or "presentation_size 140 20". Notice however that "size" sets the range of [slider] so you’ll need to do something like "sendbox size 70 20" to get around this. This will work with setting attributes to the object directly and with creating new objects through [thispatcher] scripting.
