I was in recently asking a question about copying a subpatcher and pasting it into the same patch the subpatcher comes from. I was told to use [thispatcher]. After hours and hours of attempting to get it to work, I give up. Can someone please show me how to do it?

I have included a patch that gives specific instructions on what needs to be done. If you could also show me a resource on where I can learn about using objects like [thispatcher] and about scripting in MaxMSP, that would good for everyone, as I would be able to do it myself instead of asking you guys do it for me.

As far as I know you can't duplicate an object with duplicate unless you already know it's class. That is, you would need to make a duplicate this abstraction and you'd need to just create another one. Basically I don't see this happening.
