I am trying to find the index of a string in a collection by comparing the values. Everything that I can find regarding collections only allows you to return values via the index.

Ultimately I would love to know how to retrieve the file/path info from ableton of the fired clip, but failing that I am just grabbing the clip name (which doesn’t include the extension ughh..) from ableton and I need to search a path for that file to retrieve the real filename. Does ANYONE know how to accomplish this?

There is no built in search feature for [coll] you’d have to iterate through all the entries using [uzi] and compare them with [match] or [regexp].
