Searching for replacement for the Pad of Lemur in Mira

January 8, 2014 | 10:32 am

Hello all!

I’ve finally decided to switch to Mira after 2 years of experimentation on Lemur. I’m now struggling with a way to replace the pad object of Lemur. I need button with name on them just like on Lemur. Live.tab object is not multi-touch and can’t be filled with tabs message like the tab object for dynamic filling. I will end up using the Mira.Multitouch to have multi-touch but I will need to fill manually each square with the name which is a lot of work to have a 10×10 grid…

Any suggestion or maybe someone already made an object with similar property ?

Also, there is a lot of object property that doesn’t show up in Mira. Like the Live.Text object with no name displayed, setting centered doesn’t work on some text of object, etc… I could compile a list if needed but I was wandering if there is already a list of known issues.

Thank you and keep up the good work !

right now Pads cannot be replaced with mira, but I think I can help you through the process a bit.

If you just need multi-touch buttons and overlaid text, then I do believe that live.grid now opens in Mira?

You need text too, so why not use jit.cellblock?

Sorry if my assumptions are incorrect; I haven’t let go of Lemur yet, either.

I’m using, with succes, live.grid object to control matrixctrl object and it works great for me.
