I'm currently using urn to create random numbers without any duplicates.

Is there a way to reintroduce the possibility that a specific number will be created without clearing all of the numbers that have been created?

i think not directly with the urn object but you can workaround somehow.

for example you count how many numbers are still in the urn and then you add

a[random] before the urn which bangs the reintroduced number with the same probability of the remaining numbers in urn. i mean if 100 numbers are left

you set the random to 101 and select one number to bang the reintroduced, the rest bangs the urn. just my first thought.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but if you externally seed urn, you can reload the seed and have all the possibilities available again.

If I use urn with an argument of 10 and I generate the numbers 3, 7, and 9.

Is there a way to reset urn so 3 is a possibility again but 7 and 9 still aren't?

I don't think that that's possible with urn.

You could build a structure around urn that does more or less what you want. This dumps the urn contents into a coll, which you can then step through. This example doesn't remove entries as it goes, or restore entries, but that's just a matter of coll data manipulation from here.
