the option is in the inspector , maybe a message can be sent too?

just drag the parameter you want into the edit window .

yep, you should be able to send pretty much any Inspector parameter as a message. I don't think quite all of them are supported in this way though. (?)

Another way is to click the inlet to see what messages and attributes the object understands (quite an education in itself!). If you pick one, you'll have your message box ready to go.
