I got a weird problem. In my main patch I am sending a float number using a slider object.
In subpatch that value is used to do something. It works just fine. Whenever I hit save, though, the slider stays where it is, but the value sent out resets itself first to 0 and then 100.

What’s wrong here?

It is just this one sender/receiver thing. Here are some things I’ve tried:

* Renaming it
* Tried to use a new sender object
* Removing all cables: This seems to be working, but when I create a breakpoint on the incoming value. Hit save the debugger doesn’t show me any change, although the received value IS changed.

I removed everything from my patch and copied it into a new patch. Unfortunately it seems to work just fine in Max, but not in Max for Live.
Are there any message Live sends out to reset some parameters or does Live default a certain value?

Just in case…I’ve uploaded the patch as a zip (as both Max and Max for Live patch)
