sending a matrix over ethernet?

All the tutorials ive read say this is really simple. Im guessing theres an argument I need to provide to get it to use the ethernet but cant seem to find out what that is????

it would help to know on what system are you on. whats your network topology
(router, switch, wireless) and what code have you tried that disappointed
you so.

yea sorry,using OSX 10.4.6 on macbooks running Max 4.6.2 with Jitter 1.5. Have banged the jit.net.send obj with the ip of the recieving Macs ethernet port and have specified a port num for both?

Any help would be appreciated.
