sending midi to audio-in

Hello,
for a performance tonight, I’m having strange problems with the audio-output of my midi keyboard and I would like to use max (where I also make some other processes) to resynth the midi-output of the keyboard and sending everything together through the dac. The problem is that the audio interface I use doesn’t have a midi synth, so I have to use the internal quicktime synth to resynth the midi. Now my question is: is there a way to route the quicktime midi-output of max to the input of my audio-interface?
Thank you very much,
Alberto Bernal

P.S.: It should work if I make a new aggregate device with both the internal coreaudio and the external audio-interface, but I’m skeptic to make such a fundamental change some hours before the concert…

…its probably a bit late for tonight, but you could
1) use soundflower to reroute the system output into max.
or
2) use the fluidsynth~ external to play your midi from a soundfont and
have the audio appear in msp.

good luck
