Hey
Is there a solution (without using send/receive function) to send midi signal to differents channels on an Ableton midi track ?
I don’t understand why there is an ALL CHANNEL button in MIDI IN and only channels in MIDI OUT.

Best,
Yro

max for live is max hosted by live, so there are some limitations due to live host software.

by the way, using send/receive objects in different tracks, you can do whatever you want, even it is only a workaround.

hey, thank for your response.
I also use this trick midi send/receive. It’s not realy elegant but it’s working.

best

indeed, it is a workaround.
but it works fine :)
I hope there would be other ways in the future!

check my protodeck’s interface patch:

http://www.julienbayle.net/diy/protodeck/#m4L

I have to re-route inside live the first tracks to other tracks that, themselves reroute midi to the first track where my interface patch sits.

wow..
