I have a water sensor I connected to the water pipe and I wanted to send a feed to pachube (

 - Store, share & discover realtime sensor, energy and environment data from objects, devices & buildings around the world. Pachube is a convenient, secure & scalable platform that helps you connect to & build the 'internet of things'.)

I searched the web but all I could find was tutorials related to other languages. For example I found a way to connect the sensor -> Arduino -> Processing -> pachube. And then connect Processing with max via [maxlink].

But I was wondering if there is an easier way as I don't really know Processing!

I saw some threads in the c74forum about using feeds in max, but not the other way (creating feeds for pachube from max)

I figured I needed a special format to upload to pachube and csv format seems to be acceptable. It also seems [coll] can output (write) to csv as well as long as you give the file the proper name (blah.csv).

But I don't know how I can upload that file to pachube from max so I can update my feed. Anyone has any experience with this?

Or to put it in other words, what object should I use so I can upload something to the internet as it seems jit.uldl is only for ftp when it comes to uploading?

This patch gets the serial data from a CC128 (

http://www.currentcost.com/product-cc128.html)

 and send them to Pachube. You should be able to adapt it for you own need ! You need the shell object to upload the data using curl.

Unfortunately I wanted to use it on Windows. Does anyone have a solution for Windows, maybe with curl! Everybody refers to DOShack as a Win substitute for shell. Do you know if and I can integrate it?

These weeks I got to use your patch (which I modified a bit) and it stops sending data to pachube after less than 24 hours.

Does the patch work (or did it work) for you longer than that?
