Sendkeys and Mouse External Objects

Hi folks,
Lately there are a number of threads on this forum on controling the Live User Interface and preferences directly. I think external Sendkeys and Mouse objects would be helpfull for this. You should be able to fake keyboard and mouse input actions into Live withg these.
Does anyone know if there are such externals developed yet (for the Windows environment)?

Dear xanadu,
I built a java external called ring_keyPress that emulates key strokes for windows. It works with the most keys in ableton also if the device is not focused. (But only if ableton has the windows focus of course!)
