At the moment I'm using a tempo object that is linked to a counter so it dictates 13 beats (4 beat pre count then 8 beat/ 2 bar loop record.) When the counter finishes it sends a bang to stop message to seq. At the moment the recording only ends at the last note-off midi message not the bang message to stop seq. So if i play a phrase shorter than 8 beats, say 1 beat, it'll loop 1 beat straight away rather than leave a rest of 7 more beats. It won't hang on the recording it will wrap around as soon as the last note is off. Probably easier to see patch than to explain it!

How can I get it so that the loop/record of seq will last 8 full beats - regardless of whether there'd be no notes after the last?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
