I am trying to program a 10 lights along with a piece of music. I was thinking of using the metro along with the global transport and set the metro Xn to 8, so this would mean I get 8th notes out for every beat correct?

I was then thinking of using select objects then to direct the bangs to the messages that contain the commands for the each BlinkM Led light.

However I was that would mean I would have almost 2700 selects for each light .. So that really doesnt sound to good.

has anyone had any experience synchronizing lights to music using max msp?

Also does anyone know how you get the global transport running automatically from your own patch?
