set text- change the size

hi im using a set object to set the letter X from a bang my problem is i dont know how to change the size of the x that appears in the text edit box any ideas?

we’ve all been there, no worries ;)
it’s always a good idea to check the inspector for such things. Click the @ sign at the bottom left of the inspector to toggle the attribute names. use those to send messages to the object you are inspecting. there is a ton of stuff you can change with those messages!!

do you know of any way to centre the text so that its always in the middle of the set block?

Wow I never even noticed the @ button on the inspector before but often wished it were there for these very reasons!!
