[share] Markov Utility

October 13, 2008 | 8:42 pm

Lately I have been experimenting with creating rhythms
using markov chains. In doing so, I found prob to be
quite anal *hehehe*. So to help facilitate things, I created
a utility that would load state information as well as
associated data with those states. You can then edit that
information and write the file out. This makes it very easy
to experiment with several different state graphs with
various data sets.

Enjoy,
Anthony

I think they moved the forum to new software. might have been involved in your missing patch.

mr palomba, as ever, thanks VERY much… would you mind going through the ins and outs connections in your help patch as of course, these break in the copying and saving process from the forum… (i have made the connections, but i want to be sure). thanks again.

You need to save the markov uitility as markov_util.maxpat.
The help file references markov_util.maxpat, so if it does not
find it, you will lose the connections. Once you have saved
markov_util.maxpat the help file should be able to create the
object and connections.
