I've been using max for a little over a month now and I feel like I am finally getting comfertable with the program. Attached are images of my three of my latest projects. One is a music generator originally based the IDM-5 patch by Darwin Grosse. I have added a lot of features as you can likely tell. Multiple oscillators with selectable waveforms, fffb~ filtering, 3 sfplay~ samplers rigged up to work with waveform~, a mixer, panning, and maybe some other random stuff.

The second screenshot is of my latest patch. The idea behind it was to have a modular performance instrument with lots of different ways of processing audio sources. So i have a couple groove~ samplers, two really basic synthesizers, 2 convolution units, 2 amplitude modulation units, delay, and 2 low pass filters. I like this guy so much because you can create wacky signal chains using whatever processing you want. You can also process send~s from other patches by adding whichever sends into the master ubumenu.

This last patch is really fun. I made it for a friend of mine who is a drummer. I used bonk to trigger samplers via mics hooked to his kit. You can pitch shift the samples using the keyboards on screen or load a midifile with follow.

What is everyone else using max for? I'm always curious as to what other people think up. Max is so versatile its amazing.
